Short Bio

I completed my PhD in Civil Engineering at Monash University under the supervision of Dr Yihai Fang and Dr Barrett Ens.

My research focuses primarily on applications of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies to investigate the use of digital visualisations in heads-up displays (HUD) for real-time crane lift operations. This involved the adoption of co-design methodologies with industry professionals in which high-fidelity serious games were used to prototype innovative user-interface design ideas by iterating on their feedback.

My work aims to improve the efficiency, safety, and practical deployment of AR-based assistance systems in complex crane operations, bridging the gap between speculative prototypes and field-ready interfaces.
